My precinct in Wisconsin
Town (not city) of Middleton, west of Madison. Traditionally votes republican. Our turnout was over 90%.

Final tally
1795 *
1669 Kerry

The town clerk said that this is a closer margin than what * had in 2000.

Feingold 2031
Michels 1419

Baldwin 1700 !! :(
Magnum 1743

I have no doubt that Baldwin will win - but I'm disappointed in my town.

We had about 1/3 of our voters vote via absentee, which were processed tonight through the same machine as the rest of the ballots.

We had repug poll-watchers the entire day, who just lurked around with their palm pilots, marking off the people as they voted. You know they were phoning the non-voters, to get the lazy assholes off their asses.

We didn't have any challenges - and there were no problems that weren't easily resolved.
