Are Colorado Election officials making decisions behind closed doors?...They want to keep the lever machines: Nassau County wants the New York Election Reform and Modernization Act of 2005 declared unconstitutional, and wants the DS200 system decertified in New York State...Wal-Mart, UBS and Other Groups Added to OpenSecrets.org List of Top Political Givers...Too late the CA Atty Gen says ACORN did not violate the law....

1. Love that headline- how I wish EVERY county would do the same.
One can only hope, right? One county at a time... Just sent this to my family who live up there to ask then to thank their elected officials and spread the word about how great this is. I'll bet most people there have no idea this is going on and it is really good news.

2. well, at least Webb Co TX
has sued twice now to stop use of DREs/paperless voting. The first suit was successful,
the second one is related to using EVNs in the runoff election. Same atty in both cases,
so good chance they'll win next one.
