Any news from san diego?
I keep looking for new results on the web, but nothing. They should be counting the absentees, and the totals should be updated. not liking the silence.

1. Last night
Edited on Thu Jun-08-06 10:41 PM by Patsy Stone
There were 68500 ballots listed http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=1377756&mesg_id=1378221

Tonight it's 66500: http://www.sdvote.org/election/primary.xml

2000 ballots per day? It's gonna take forever... or at least another month. :eyes:

ed: I did the math.

3. That's how many are still to be counted
not how many have been counted:
"There are approximately 66500 Absentee / Provisional ballots still to be counted"

4. I know. That means 2000 absentee ballots WERE counted today.
but the results weren't added on to the totals. the totasl for busby race are identical to yesterday. that doesn't make any sense. They are supposed to keep on updating the totals as they count.

5. I don't know
It the worst site ever.

I'll copy the data from the site here, and then tomorrow do it again. We don't even know how many of those 66500 remaining are for the 50th.

Here are tonight's numbers.

U.S. REPRESENTATIVE 50TH DISTRICT - (RUN-OFF)

Vote for: 1
BRIAN BILBRAY - REP
64554
49.50%

FRANCINE BUSBY - DEM
59021
45.26%

What were they last night? Let me go check.

8. You didn't hear?
Zarqawi's dead.

I can't find those numbers anywhere on DU. I looked in the California forum, in here, in GD. No one (not even I) posted the actual numbers.

I have to go to sleep. But this whole thing smells a bit like Ohio.

9. the reason you can't find it is because all the du links go to the
actual website which always has the current numbers. Thanks for trying. I just found that out when I went to compare numbers.
