2. You're welcome.
Let's keep this kicked for the late crowd.

We all need a little good news once in a while. It helps us all fight the battles after a week like this one (CAFTA, Energy Bill, etc.). It refreshes the energy.

4. Energy bill?
Edited on Fri Jul-29-05 03:13 PM by Bill Bored
We don't need no stinkin' energy bill!

Just go out and buy some compact fluorescent light bulbs and STARVE THE BEAST!

Switch to Green Power too (check with your local utility), sell your SUV, and all that sort of thing!

And buy your gas from Venezuela at the Citgo station.

If the voting machines don't work, we have to vote with our pocketbooks! Maybe THAT will get their attention.

5. YEAH BABY!!!!
When Shelley was driven out of office, and a new SOS was appointed by Ahnold, I was depressed, thinking that we could expect to see my beloved Left-Coast California turn Red in 2006.

But now, there IS HOPE!

10. This is GREAT news. We will get it out to 570 TN election officials ...
... next week. Diebold has bought a number of election officials in this state already, but maybe this story will base them in reality again.

BradBlog also has a post on this story, with a building thread (www.bradblog.com).

12. What about LA County early voting with TSx??
LA County uses Diebold TSx for early voting (10 days before election, not including election day).

Does this mean that LA will not be able to use these machines?

Also, LA does not offer paper ballot or VVPAT with early voting since Shelley made exception for early voting due to other available options (voting absentee, or on day of election).
