How can you tell a rBr from a rKr?

How can you tell a rBr from a rKr?
Do they look different?
Do Bush voters look different from Kerry voters?

Now, for sure an exit pollster can tell if a rBr or rKr is male or female.
And also if a rBr or rKr is black or white.

But how can an untrained pollster tell the difference between a rBr and a rKr? She can't.

Unless...she sees the rXr drive off.

The rBr will drive off in a brand new SUV, 7 MPG.
The rKr will squeeze into an old Volkwagon.

More SUV's.
That's how they knew.

3. You are right. You can't tell a rBr from a rKr.....

and you can't assume he/she voted the same as a respondent having the same age, sex and race.

That is the problem NEP has with "adjusting" for non-respondents.
