Big love from the UK
I just want to thank all of you for your efforts. It's not over yet, not by a long shot, but whichever way it goes you've put up one hell of a fight.

I stayed up til 5am watching the BBC coverage and, by Christ, today is going to be long day at the office.

Keep up the fight, don't let that giggling monkey-boy steal another term. Remember that the rest of the world is looking on and, contrary to a few posts I've seen, we don't hate you. I can't give enough credit for how bravely you've stood up to the Worst President In Living Memory.

If ever any of you are in London, drop me a message and I'll get you a beer to say thank you.

Uh-oh.....there goes the i-pod fund....

All the best,

Slipperduke

5. Thanks
That really means a lot.

I expect we're just going to get killed overseas and it is very gratifying to know that someone understands how painful it is for those of us who have to live through this.

We're gonna win fighting or we're gonna lose fighting. But we're definitely going to give it whatever it takes.

11. A few pints make sense about now
Thanks for the moral support, guys.

We won't bend over this time. We've already heard all of the Repuke's insults and taunts; they can't hurt us. They've taken away our basic rights; can't really fear that anymore. We've lost our jobs. Gee, scare us with thoughts of unemployment! No health care. Can't yank that.

And then add the deaths of 1200 troops and 100,000 Iraqis. This administration surely is a connoisseur of blood and maiming.

So fear what? Death? It's certain one way or another. As Crazy Horse said, it's a good day to die.

Better to go down for something better than to stay and watch the violent, hate-filled beasts kill a nation.

12. Thanks, mate. I know logic and reason
will overcome this attempt to steal another election. Our thoughts are with all of the English soldiers that have been sucked into this illegal war in Iraq as well.

15. Is that as far as it goes?
We appreciate your sharing our pain, but it would be even more meaningful if you could organize Parliament to overlook that whole . . . revolution . . . thing, and let those of us who want to come back, do so. ? yea, maybe?

17. I'm all for moving back "home". Wonder if my Nana is up to
heading back to Port Rush where her father was from with my two small fry in tow?

*sigh*

21. I'm working on my Irish passport
right now. I'm elibible for Irish citizenship because all of my grandparents were born there. Funny, they all came here in the '30s for a better life. I'm glad they're not alive to see what's become of the "promised land". :grr:

24. My Nana and Dad qualify, but my bro and I and my kids do not.
So they'll have to get in first and then bring us over. *Oh the irony, thinking how many families split up to come HERE over the years.*
