520 Pounds of Cocaine in Crash

WHEELING - More than a quarter-ton of packaqed cocaine was reportedly seized from the wreckage of a twin-engine aircraft that crashed near the Wheeling-Ohio County Airport over the weekend.

Law enforcement officials are searching for the alleged pilot of the Piper Aerostar aircraft, who they identified as Eugene Nicholas Cobb, no age listed, of Los Angeles. The initial investigation of the abandoned aircraft Sunday yielded around 327 pounds of cocaine stowed in the passenger seating area.

Additional cocaine reportedly was found Monday during the Federal Aviation Administration's investigation hidden in the nose cone of the aircraft, bringing the total weight of the cocaine seized by the Brooke County Sheriff's Department to around 520 pounds. One of the packages of cocaine was reportedly found wrapped as a Christmas gift.

this was Cocaine, not Heroin. To my knowledge, no one has ever been able to extract Cocaine from a Poppy.
True, The Afghan Heroin trade is at an all time high (no pun intended), but this came from South America and SOMEONE is in deep shit because of it's loss and confiscation. I wouldn't want to be in the pilot's shoes.

Clinton SHOULD have vigorously pursued the Iran Contra scandal/indictments when he came to office. That was a HUGE mistake on his part. He chose NOT to pursue criminal investigations, in the pursuit of "bipartisanship" (?) so Shrub came in and sealed the documents. Case closed.
