VA-02: Phil Kellam's new ad (transcript and video)
Snipped from his website:

http://www.philkellam.com/passing/pass.cfm?section=press&id=47

"We need a change in Washington and representative that will stand up for the needs of the 2nd District," said Charlie Kelly, Kellam's Campaign Manager. "As Commissioner of the Revenue, Phil lead the charge to eliminate the City Sticker. Working with state and local agencies, he got rid of an eighty year old tax-payer nuisance. We need more of that kind of "can-do" leadership in Washington.

"In Virginia, we've had wonderful examples of local and state governments who have thrown partisanship aside to get things done. But in Washington, all we see are partisan games, incompetence, and ethical controversies."

The ad talks about Kellam's record of accomplishment and commitment to go to Congress and get to work on improving local education and transportation needs.

"The status quo in Washington is not working," said Charlie Kelly. "Our first ad makes it clear to voters that Phil Kellam will go to Congress with a straight-forward agenda to improve education and transportation in our area. While Thelma Drake presents more of the same unapologetic partisanship, Phil Kellam offers a fresh start, and will be an Independent advocate from Day 1. That's Phil Kellam."
