I know that in Houston there was a situation were a number of ballots did not register a vote for president. Where there any other problems with voting machines in Houston or other areas of Texas? Mainly did people have to stand in extremely long lines on election day? Were there enough voting machines in the counties?
1. Texas is a great place to pad the popular vote, since it's considered
by all to be "Bush country". So who would think twice about questioning or looking for unusual numbers. Thanks to electronic voting machines with no trail.
absentee (I never know what will happen, just to be safe). I had NO line and a paper ballot. My husband voted on election day, no problems maybe a 5-7 min. wait. (Voted around 10:00 am at the college). Midland
our sales rep there tried to vote for Kerry...say bush's name appeared highlighted when he started, and had to struggle with the machine to correct it. and he has computer sophistication.
