Early voting starts on Monday and Obama needs our help with:

1. Phonebanking

Calling new primary voters using a voter information script that does NOT require the phone banker to ask anything, simply provide information. You will be using a user-friendly program that allows you to phone from home or from TCDP if you prefer a paper copy. TCDP is located at 3004 W. Lancaster Ave. (corner of Lancaster & University Dr.). Phone banking is every day from 9:00-9:00 but we want to get these calls to new voters completed THIS WEEKEND before polls open Mon. Please email me at [email protected] to get your list to call.

2. Poll greeters/watchers

We need folks to staff hundreds of voting locations during early voting and on Nov. 4. Those who are willing and able to act in this capacity need to attend one of two training sessions (one hour) scheduled for 4:00 on either Saturday or Sunday this weekend. Saturday's session is at The Dock Bookstore, 6637 Meadowbrook Dr, 76112 and Sunday's session is at UNT Medical Center Rm.108, 3500 Camp Bowie , 76107. 3. Literature drop

Obama’s Chicago ofc. is sending literature/door hangers that need to be prepared with voting location stickers and dropped right before Nov. 4. Brett Rosenthal [email protected] needs 2,008 of us delivering lit into EVERY precinct to win the ’08 election!

4. Rides to polls

We need volunteers that are available to provide rides to the polls both during early voting and on November 4. Call 817-335-8683 to help.
