Republican running campaign ads on local AAR
Never thought I'd see the day. The DFW Air America Radio affiliate is airing ads by Bob Johnson, challenger to Congressman Sam Johnson in the Republican primary. He's asking for the votes of Democrats, using the logic that he's the lesser of two evils, and Democrats don't stand a chance in that district. His positions make him sound like a Democrat, but I'm sure that's intentional.:eyes:

tanyev mentioned her dilemma on this earlier thread.

Congressman Sam Johnson took money from two Indian casinos via Tom DeLay/Abramoff to stop another Indian casino, and won't give it back!

Congressman Sam Johnson insults the man who got him out of Hanoi alive and says Bush is a better leader - please, can we have Nixon back??

5. Hey there back atcha!
:hi:
tanyev, your user name is memorable to me because of that classic you posted last summer. The one about giving Brownie a heads up that Ophelia was headed for the Carolina coast. I still get a belly laugh when I think about it.

7. Dear Mr. Bob Johnson
Good luck, but so sorry, we're busy getting our own best candidates ready for November.

;)

But yeah, media just love political ads. They really rake in the bucks during campaign season.
