Glad to see it printed, but they sure did take some liberty in editing. My original:

If an American citizen had discussed the possible identity of a probable CIA Agent that may or may not be undercover or may or may not be involved in search for terrorist weapons, they would be jailed under the Patriot Act with no access to legal council and no Constitutional rights.

Karl Rove on the other hand is a model Patriot. His involvement in outing a CIA Agent, that just so happens to be the wife of a critic of the Bush Administration, has resulted in no action taken by the President or Congress. Not even his access to classified information has been revoked till the investigation into the situation is over.

I guess the next time I decide to out a CIA agent for my own personal gain, I will use Karl Rove as an example of what an American Patriot really is and avoid presecution.

3. They do that here
But at least you got printed and there were a couple of other good letters there too. The Trib is not nearly as bad a rag as some of the Cox papers. (Austin American Statesman for example)
