Tenn. House passes resolution to support home schooling ... in Germany
Edited on Tue May-26-09 05:55 PM by Old Coot
NASHVILLE — A proposal that would urge Germany to support home schooling has passed the House.

The measure sponsored by Democratic Rep. John Deberry of Memphis was unanimously approved on Tuesday.

Deberry said he proposed the bill after learning about a family in Morristown that relocated from Germany "because of their strong feelings for home schooling."

I can't believe our lawmakers have nothing better to do but to try to tell another nation how to educate its children.
