Bar Association Recommendations for PA Judge Candidates
http://www.pabar.org/public/committees/JEC/07supreme.asp

The above link includes reviews of candidates for PA Supreme Court and PA Superior Court. Also, the site has a link to reviews of judge candidates in many county elections. These reviews are based upon opinions submitted by large numbers of attorneys.

The two Dem Supreme Court candidates who received the highest recommendations were Todd and Jones - there are two open seats. Three Dem Superior Court candidates received the highest recommendations - Folino, Lazarus and Donohue - for 2 open seats.

Saylor is up for retention on the State Supreme Court. He voted AGAINST allowing judges to keep the illegal pay raise, unlike most other justices. In a couple other insipid Supreme Court decisions, he voted against the bozo majority.

1. Thanks for posting this, JPZ.
If anyone is interested, the PSEA Political Action Committee recommended Jones, McCaffery and Todd for Supreme Court.

They also recommended for Superior Court: Donohue, Folino, Lazarus, Lynn, McCormick, and Younge.

Cross-referencing the two lists: Jones and Todd were both recommended.
Donohue, Folino, and Lazarus, recommended by both organizations.

That might help some people to narrow it down.

2. Retention Elections are in November
FYI - a number of Statewide judges are up for retention elections - but not until November.
