2. Call your representatives!

Thanks for posting this contact info, quakerboy. I've already called & e-mailed Senators Merkley & Wyden & my congressman, Kurt Schrader to express support for a single-payer system or, failing that, a strong Medicare-like public option. This is our best chance in decades, perhaps since the late 1940's,to get some kind of national health care plan set up...we need to take advantage of this opportunity while we can.

4. I just wrote Wyden and told him if he didn't go for a PUBLIC OPTION

That hubby and I would NEVER vote for him again.

Wyden is selling us out. He should go the the same kind of option as Blumenauer.

3. They should be home this week

If Wyden is doing townhalls, we should protest. Follow him around the state with bandages and crutches and medical bills poking out of our pockets. Or something. Anybody up for hounding the guy until he gets Public Option through his head?
