and have recently bought a house. $125 K is going to be tough. Do you have children and care about the schools? This makes a HUGE difference. GO BUCKS...(learn to love it)

P.S. what side of town will you be working on?

3. You want to stay away from Columbus public schools. That is why we moved.

An area that falls in your price range and has Columbus taxes but Dublin scholls is eclosed by Hayden Rd. to the South, Sawmill Rd. to the East, RT.33 to the West and 161 to the North. We looked in there very hard and found some rather big yards, 70's and later construction, 1800-2100 sq ft., 2 car garage for around your price.

4. You can get a lot of house for your money in Hilliard. I live in
the Dublin/Worthington area. I love it here.

PM me if you have any more questions.

7. SW Side
Just (last August) bought a house on the South West side of town, near Galloway/Grove City Area. Paid right in your range. 2 story, 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath, fenced in yard, 2 car garage. Lots of homes in my area are up for sale. Southwestern City schools. Not much experience w/ schools (my kid is 14 mo. old). We had to pass a levy this year (thank you very much General Assembly), and expect another one in 3-5 years.

Great neighborhoods, lots of kids, real friendly folks.

12. Agreed--"Grove-tucky" is better than advertized
The schools are decent and your house money goes farther. Don't let the current traffic mess scare you away--when it's finished we'll go back to having great access to the greater Columbus area.

Grove City is sometimes called Grove-tucky because so many settled here first when moving up from the hills, thanks to the cheaper housing prices.

10. Gahanna / Blacklick Area
Is a great area. The schools are top notch and the housing is average. We live in in Blacklick which is in the Gahanna school district a suburb of Columbus and we live on an acre. There is actually a house three houses down from us selling for about $176,000, with also an acre of land. PM if you want more info.
