Senate tries again to pass minimum wage bill. Will Voinovich continue to block it?
Last week Voinovich would not vote for cloture on the minimum wage bill and allow it to come to a vote. The Senate is debating the bill again this afternoon (Monday).

I just spoke to Voinovich's office and was told that another cloture vote was called for tomorrow (Wednesday) around noon.

If enough people call so that he gets the idea that we're watching and that we connect his name to the holdup of the minimum wage bill, he might be motiviated to allow it to come to a vote and then to vote for it.

Points to remember: Voinovich was a booster of the "up or down vote" concept. Also, Ohio recently showed it's support for raising the minimum wage by raising it ourselves. He works for us.

Here is his contact information:

Senator Voinovich: 202-224-3353
District Offices:
Cincinnati: 513-684-3265
Cleveland: 216-522-7095
Columbus: 614-469-6697
Nelsonville: 740-441-6410
Toledo: 419-259-3895

1. That's rich, Voinovich from the poorest city in the US
Won't give the poor half a chance to survive.

Living fat and crapping on the rest

4. Yes, he is not up for re-election until 2010
He will do whatever he pleases or is told told to do.

One day the mafia will tire of him.
