Obama supporters bowl us over

Folks tell me that, for some reason, bowling has been in the political news lately. All I know is that a few nights ago, a band of change-oriented Nebraskans came together to support our campaign for the U.S. Senate. Thank you, Lincoln for Obama, for your hospitality and expert bowling!

More importantly, this diverse group of Nebraskans came together to support the kind of community-based change in which we all believe -- no matter who we support for President. Event participants pledged their time and money not to our campaign, but to Lincoln People's City Mission.

The People’s City Mission provides sustainable solutions to homelessness: domestic violence counseling, treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, and much more. Thank you to the staff and volunteers there for addressing a growing problem in Lincoln.

Here's what the scene looked like at Masden's bowling alley in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Again, our deepest thanks to Lincoln for Obama and the Lincoln People’s City Mission. Their work inspires us to charge ahead in your campaign for change!

Yours from the trail,

Scott Kleeb

PS - The “Bowling for Change” event hosted by Lincoln for Obama is just one of the many exciting developments in this campaign. Stay tuned as we continue to spread Nebraska’s Brand of Change!
