3. Where and when?
We have been invited to join Drinking Liberally the Sunday after this for a JFK dinner in KCK. I just got that email and will post it soon.

So we could either do that or we could do that plus get together this weekend.

I vote for the second choice. Sunday the 12th at 6:00 at Flea Market?

5. somewhere close to
Joplin, of springfield I hope....:) I cannot express just how...well, fucking happy I am right now...Claire won, the stem cell amendment got passed, my god...there are sane people in Missouri after all...as a matter of fact, every amendment passed I think, except the smoke tax, which surprised me big time...I thought for sure that little gem would pass. Thank you fellow Missourians for everythign that you have done, I only put up signs and knocked on doors...and finally got my father/mother in law to vote dem...second time in their lifetime voting for dem canidates...

Our local races, I know the top two races went big time to the R's, M. Ruestman, and K. Wilson both won...but I haven't seen any other results for our county races...but I hope some of our dems pulled through. This county is extremely red...in 04, 7500 plus voted for W, and 1500 or so voted for Kerry...just an example of how red this county is...

6. Here's an idea: Let's rent the MSSU Basketball Arena
The same one where George Bush came last Friday to stump for Talent. It is our understanding that it cost the Republican Party $750. Surely we can rustle up that sum. Plus fees for custodians.

Ha! Wouldn't that be hilarious!!!

7. thats more like it...:)
I'm literally, 15 miles from the AR border...going up to KC is a drive, and ST. Louis is about out of the question....but Springfield, or Joplin isn't that far away...I see a lot of meetups have been held in KC...

I'm still in literal shock...last night...I stayed up as late as I could, and the talent/claire race was still undecided...I woke up a few hours ago and heard the good news, and the stem cell good news....last night the stem cell one was losing...and I was stunned...I was like, "the cig tax fails" and yet the "stem cell" thing flops...but the stem cell won out, still in shock over that...

I'm from such a red county, seeing any hope is futile...but "hope" is all I see right now, and its one fine day down in McDonald County....

8. Stem cell passage was good to see
I carry a gene that makes life miserable at times, perhaps a generation or two down the line they'll be able to turn it off.
