2. Here being DU, I assume and my answer would be it depends.....
...during the days right befor e the election I would come to DU pretty much always to get a feel for the chatter and if anything dramatic might be coming out. However, I have other blogs and news sources that I regularily check. But DU is on my favorites list and there is rarely a day that I don't check in at least once.

3. I do now.
Recently changed my pattern. The Minnesota forum is now my first for a couple of reasons.

1) To check locally for anything that may need my personal physical attention. Like rallies, instant protests, or emergencies of a local political nature.

2) After a couple of meetups, I have friends here that I want to keep in touch with.

I usually do a quick browse of this forum, and then check LBN. After LBN, the pattern varies.

5. I never go to the Minnesota forum.
But I've been to the Mall of America and the Spam Museum -- do they count?

7. Of course. This is home base.
I come here, check for new posts, sometimes post something I think people would be interested in, like I'm going to do now, and then go look around.

10. I can't say I do...
but I'm getting better. Usually I check the lounge for some low key laughs first off then check here. But sometimes I forget about here and get sucked into the lounge...I'm a goner then! :)

17. Media board first then here
It is usually plug Ed Schultz in the Media board then come here. I also check out the North Dakota board. Rural Minnesota (west and south) could learn on the national scale about people they elect (e.g. Dorgan, Pomeroy, and Conrad).

19. First time here on this state forum
but decided to check out my roots. Sigh, if it weren't for my totally republican family up there (and their attendant values), I might not be living 2000 miles away and spending Thanksgiving alone. Oh well.

Happy Thanksgiving to all !

20. I like the local pov
Of course, as I read, I am assuming everyone is from Minneapolis, and sometimes I get knocked off my high horse when I realize that someone else is from outstate.

Think globally, act locally.
