Emmer is settling into retirement on the radio
I am so glad he is a morning radio talk show host instead of governor even though his blog has some doozies to attract ratings and listeners. His latest anti-Liberation Theology one bashes the christian tenant of helping the poor (probably goes over very well in the suburbs) by pulling the full communist card mixed in with quite a few more dog whistle words.

1. I've never listened to his show. He looks like a total oaf on the billboard.
:puke:

2. So true
I am wondering if they are keeping him here to keep his profile up for when Dayton's term comes to a end. Otherwise he is keeping the narrow base riled up every morning coming into work.

5. I've only heard him on KFAN weekends ...
... when they pair him up with one of the sports guys for a show (cross-station promotion - what is it with the Twin Cities' media and all the cross-station/cross-medium combinations?). If it sounds like a forced, uncomfortable, unlistenable show, that is because it is. Truly bad radio.

7. Emmer was MN ALEC legislator for privatizing prisons
this article has ALEC all over it. I wouldn't be surprised if there are other similar writings on other neo-CONS sites.

Love how he defends the financial institutions that are destroying this country

8. Minnesota prisons are remarkably safe and well run...
... and we have a very low percentage of prisoners to population. Private prisons are not safe. This is a very bad idea.

Can someone push ALEC off a cliff?
