Today: Rally to support Peace Activist in front of FBI offices 10/5 at 4:30pm

Tuesday, October 5 – Protest
4:30 p.m.
Outside FBI headquarters
111 Washington Ave S
(Corner of Marquette and Washington Aves)
Minneapolis

Can't make the event.. you can still be active and help support us.

These people have fought for all of us by fighting back against Foreclosures, fighting for Worker's rights, fighting against cutting aid and services to the very poor and sick in our community. We must support them.

Call and email our elected officials and candidates. Representative
Ellison and Senators Klobuchar and Franken could introduce bills to change
the law. City officials could pledge the city's intent not to cooperate
with this federal repression. All could issue statements condemning the
raids and supporting the targets of repression, and could come to our
events. So far, with one exception, there has been TOTAL silence and
inaction from every one of them, despite repeated requests from many of
their constituents. Utter spinelessness, and/or complicity. The
exception: Green Party City Council member Cam Gordon, Ward 2, Mpls, who
has issued a very strong statement, and came to last Monday's rally.

Contact information:

Mayor RT Rybak: [email protected] 612-348-2100

City Council: (note: there were two raids in Ward 6, and one each in
Wards 2, 8, and 9 - will they support their own constituents?)

Unfortunately, the list of signers is not being updated in a timely

problems posting on Indymedia. I am trying to find out the problem, and
will let you know. Several friends signed over a week ago and their names
don't yet appear.

8) Donate! This all costs money, for legal defense, signs and banners,
etc. Also, the confiscated computers need to be replaced so that the AWC
and activists can continue their work.

To donate to the national support group, for legal defense, etc.:

You can donate online, or send a check to the address listed there.
