Hey, Detroit-area Boomers: KEENER-13!
Like clockwork, on Wednesday afternoons, Keener would put out their weekly music guide; and like clockwork, we kids would stop at Hazel Park's Harmony House to pick up our copy. Once in a while, to our disappointment, Keener would be late, but we'd finally get our copy the next day after school. Thinking about it now, it's funny how important that guide was to us kids. If I didn't live it, I wouldn't believe it! lol To complete the story, we always stopped at the bakery next door for a honey bun. Sweet eats and sweet music - walking home - rain, shine or snow.
:)

Take a trip down memory lane - hear the DJs, commercials, etc: http://keenerpodcast.com/
