3. lots of questions about census jobs
Edited on Sat Jan-24-09 01:18 AM by auntv
anyone done these jobs before? do you get reimbursed for mileage? is there a lot of walking? do you have any choice of the area you have to work in? I do not want to go in unsafe areas at all, and for sure not at night alone. it says the jobs can vary so do you get a lot of part time as well as full time? how long does it last?

I have a college degree does that help for a better position? no jobs these days for a 58 yr. old with 42 years of job experience, especially with most being in automotive fields,

thanks

6. they probably will take a while
well ya all know the gov - most gov jobs take 6 months from
when you apply I have heard - I also heard on tv the majority
of these jobs will only last a couple of weeks and many will
be part time or a combo of part time/full time. I really do
not want to be walking around bad parts of town at night by
myself to survey people.
