Occupy Boston pics 10-3-11 This is the Dewey Square "encampment"

I'll post some here so it doesn't overwhelm anyone on dial-up.

These are from the encampment across from the Fed in Boston's Dewey Square. This is just North of South Station at about 0645 to 1045:

1. There are 200 people camped there, and they're well received.

The police superintendent says they are doing a great job of policing their own area and not permitting booze/drugs in their encampment, and the police intend to respect their right to exercise their right to free speech.

It's a very different vibe in Boston. Way more focused.

I spoke to some this morning and they were in high spirits.

Some people came by to offer to do laundry, they have an Aid tent, food and water was donated, (but they will need m ore over time).

3. They showed a nice, middle aged lady on the TV bringing cookies.

The people acting as spokespeople in Boston are very articulate and on-message.
