1. This is why . . .

when someone suggests using the "Massachusetts model" for national health care reform, I begin to scream. This is why private insurers will require both a strong public option AND strict regulation to keep them under control. This is why the fact that our "representatives" refuse to even consider the most efficient system - single-payer - makes me think they are representing their donors in the insurance/health care industry, not us.

2. The Romneycare scam is highway robbery

The mandated Romneyscam wanted to clip me for $460 per month in premiums with a $4000 annual deductible. And that's the cheapest plan!

I told them to shove it, and that I wouldn't pay their fine either.
