MARYLAND - There is a difference in this election...
Edited on Mon Nov-06-06 11:09 PM by nickshepDEM
...and you can make it - Vote for Martin O'Malley for Governor.

Ben Cardin for US Senate

This will be my last diary before the end of the 2006 midterm season. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but dont just vote, take your friends and family to the polls with you and demand that they vote for change tomorrow.

We need Martin O'Malley to be our next Governor.

And we need Ben Cardin to be our next US Senator.

If you have time before or after work, drop by your local Democratic HQ's, make a few calls, knock on a few doors, contact a few friends. Do more than vote.

Lets bring this thing home ladies and gentleman.

Hey Bobby and Mikey, you aint gotta go home, but you cant stay here!

-Nick

1. I have been trying to do my part.

When some nice young man that wasn't used to driving on narrow roads with no shoulders brought me my O'Malley sign (the one I would of gone to get myself had they told me where) gave me a t-shirt if I would hand out literature (no problem there) I underestimated the power of a t-shirt. I ran out of literature long ago but the most attention I get is for the t-shirt. People up my way just don't get t-shirts or much else from either party. Most seem to think I am related to O'Malley as they think that is the only way to get one. So for the last week and all day tomorrow (except when I go vote) I will be wearing my O'Malley t-shirt and I will be traveling both counties and reminding people I run into to vote. If they happen to ask how I got a t-shirt I will be happy to explain while telling them why I could never stand Ehrlich for another 4 years.

Edited to add that O"Malley not only found Cecil County he found some out of the way places in this county to visit. Not sure Ehrlich knows we exist except to get money from us to build roads elsewhere.
