Some Iowa Officeholders Refuse Pay Cuts

This looks really bad - especially in an election year. In fact, this honks me off a bit. Geez - are the Democrats TRYING to lose?

DES MOINES (AP) — Three Iowa officeholders haven't joined other statewide officials in taking pay cuts in the face of the state's falling revenues.

Lt. Gov. Patty Judge, Secretary of State Michael Mauro and Treasurer Michael Fitzgerald have refused to follow Gov. Chet Culver, who took a 10 percent cut in his pay.

who lost jobs, and took pay cuts. Arrogant is the word.
