No state can top us for political theater.
The republicans are no better than us. They had Alan Keyes and Ryan. They tried to recruit Ditka. Their guys go to jail just like ours.

This Scott Lee Cohen stuff is bad enough. But now Celebrity Apprentice is starting, and Blago will be on it. I tried to see if a judge was going to keep him off this time, as happened with "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here." I didn't find anything. And they must be taping now, right? It starts soon. Surely it is being taped. Does anyone know?

We are going to have a hard enough time, even if Cohen does come to his senses and drop out. Blago will be out there on TV during the election season. Let the games begin...or continue, or whatever.

I'm surprised Trump let Rod into this. I didn't think Trump would tolerate any competing hair.

1. The only reason Blago wasn't allowed on "I'm a Celebrity" was because it was in another country
Apprentice is in the U.S., unfortunately. The promos are already on and so it might already be taped.

2. You're right.
I forgot about that. I think we did not have any extradition agreements with wherever the hell that show was taped. They thought Rod might flee.

I thought that was kind of funny, because he claims to be broke. How could he live as an expatriate? But anything is possible with him.

4. Blago's trial starts June 3 so he gets on TV either way.
But his trial in June will be very bad press for Democrats/ the election and you know it won't be a short trial.
