A couple of our local Democrats are running in municipal non-partisan elections. I spoke to them tonight, and they have my full support and cooperation.

Usually, I can take it. Elections are work, but I am not a nervous wreck over them. I just do the work, look at the returns and see what we need to do to improve for next time.

But this time I can't take it! My son is running for office and I am a nervous wreck. All my professionalism has gone out the window.

I raised my kids to be civic-minded and to care about government and politics. But I feel like it will give me a nervous breakdown. I've never been a political mom before. Helllp!
