George Ryan Corruption Trail : Discussion Thread.

You know I had a thought that struck me kinda funny. For all the Dem bashing threads that are on this forum, we haven't seen that many addressing George Ryan. So I was wondering what is your opinion on the trail so far? Do you think he'll walk, how do you think it'll play in the general election?
Just remember you may or may not like Duckworth, such as your right, but our real enemy is the Republican party. Lots not forget that it was the Republican party that ruined this state. Have a happy everyone, I am just trying to remind everyone of who the enemy is.

1. In all of the IL corruption the public is alway the looser

Obviously Rod is going to win the Dem primary. The GOp er's continue talking about the "culture of corruption" as if the GOP hadn't had control of the state for 24 straight years. I can't see the corruption issue helping them much unless, Blagovich is somehow implicated in an obvious corruption scandal. None of the GOP reformers has suggested a reform likely to stem the flow of corruption in IL. What we really need is campaign finance reform. Clean Money reform like in AZ Maine and Connecticut would really make a difference. We can not expect the politicians to stop acting in the special interests interest, and start acting in the public interest, until the public is paying fully for their services.

that i hope that fucker rots in prison. i have borne a grudge against him since he was the floor leader who killed the era. i really don't bear many grudges. but this one i take to HIS grave.
