We rescued a sweet young black cat here in Miami -33139 and need advice...
Our local vet is fixing her gimpy leg but we can't keep her (though she is lovely)and we don't want to put her back on the street. She likes dogs and is very gentle. Anyone know of any no-kill shelters or some other sort of arrangement?

1. Go to YahooGroups.com and search for rescue groups
in the South Florida area. You can post on their message boards. I found homes for 3 kittens through Yahoo Groups.

3. Update. Kitty is healed and living in the neighbors yard, getting fed by
us regularly. Only thing is... he brings his friends and now we are feeding four mouths.
