Jim Himes (D-CT) wants to extend tax cuts for the wealthy
Heard him on NPR this morning crying the blues about how $250,000 a year was not a lot of money.
I'm supposed to give up my Saturdays to go campaign for him in October ? I don't think so. After all, what's the difference if he loses ? He's nothing but a DINO.

<snip> Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.), another prime target for Republicans in November, said the recession makes raising taxes a dicey proposition. "The economy has by no means fully recovered, so my bias is that those high-end tax cuts should be extended," he told the Connecticut Mirror. Himes is a freshman Democrat who represents affluent Fairfield County in Connecticut. He narrowly defeated Rep. Chris Shays (R-Conn.) in 2008 and is locked in a tight race to defend his southwest Connecticut seat this year. <snip>

Here's an earlier quote from Himes on the same topic

<snip> He described the Bush administration as a "catastrophic government" that was "dedicated to do nothing more than to making the tax burden smaller on the very wealthiest people in this country." <snip>

So who is Himes looking out for ? The middle class or his own job ?

1. His own job - and his constituents
He's in one of the wealthiest areas of the country. In fact, the wealthiest area of the wealthiest area...

I assume this is simple self-defense.

2. If he thinks that $250,000 isn't a lot of money, he needs to become a Teabag Repube
They, too, are factless, clueless, pro-rich idiots.
