Question about Primary numbers
It seems that statewide the repukes had about a 3 to 2 margin over dems in voter turnout during the primaries. Has this been the normal historical trend, or..

..did most dems just assume Salazar would get the nod and didn't bother voting?

..are some dems just lazy and apathetic?

..did the repuke Senate race spark more interest, hence higher voter turnout?

..have I been drinking too much coffee?

Jus' askin'. I can't find any "historical" data that I can compare. Thanks.

3. there was
a much more competitive Senate Primary and the Republicans have a registration advantage anyhow. Dems can only win by getting a clear majority of independent voters and some Republicans as well.

4. I'm encouraged by the Schaffer numbers
The "John Elway" repukes will vote for anything with a Swastika attached to it, but IMHO in Colorado there are a lot of libertarian leaning folk and moderates that definitely will consider Salazar over Coors.

Coors, born with a silver beer can up his ass, is just mouthing bush* talking points and shows how disconnected he is from the real problems facing Colorado.

6. You must be an Elway fan?
I'm not. After that little bullshit stunt he pulled when he dis'd Clinton. Clinton invited Broncos to the Whitehouse after the Superbowl win and Elway couldn't make it.....was playing golf or something. The guy is a fucking asshole in my book and an over-rated quarterback. 99% of those "comeback wins" when he played were because of the defense.....not Elway.

When bush* comes to town for some fund raising, take a gander at who will be sitting close to him....
