can we do something to end these stupid Propositions on the ballots
it seems too easy to get these things on the ballots with a certain amount of money. and supporters/opponents are always misleading about what they are about.

i'm not opposed to it overall but it's come to a point where i don't even want to read about it and just vote no or not at all on them.

1. Here's an idea...
Start a drive to get your own propositions on the ballot, that counter the ones you despise.

2. Agree that propositions are a way for the super wealthy
to bypass the legislature.

First the super wealthy pay people to collect signatures, then they spend huge sums of money on false advertising.

4. Or, stop paid petitioners. Make it voluntary.

5. Yeah, maybe it should not be alllowed to be a commercial operation.
But then, the same can be said for most of our political system. When did elections become about how much money you could collect instead of how many voters you could win over?
