1. Repetition
That was what struck me with Bush,

Hard work...hard work...hard work
Offense...offense...offense
mixed messages...mixed messages...mixed messages
Wrong war, wrong time...wrong war, wrong time...etc.

Like he only had soundbites and couldn't manage to think of a new way to make his point (which is no doubt the case)

2. yup, in all seriousness and this IS very serious . . .
GWBush is flashcard happy, meaning he cannot get past the flashcard phase of his training. He cannot verbalize reason. He cannot analyze. He cannot think, critically.

Why is this man president?

3. "Hard" bugged me the most.....
I counted at least 10! That is one overused word for him. Kerry should use it againt him. Like I've been to War and it isn't hard, it is HELL!

5. Bush said he knows war is hard because he sees it on the teevee screen
That will come as great comfort to any families who've lost loved ones in this war.

He sees it on the teevee screen, so he know's it's 'hard'. :eyes:

Edited on Fri Oct-01-04 08:27 AM by comsymp
in which Ferrell was * addressing the nation (think it was supposed to be the First 100 Days address) in which he crawled out from under his desk while DC was in flames in the background?

"Presidentin's haaaarrd!"

4. "of course I know Osama bin Laden attacked us.  I know that. "
LOL! I was on the floor after he delivered this one. Bush sounded like somebody who'd been caught trying to loosing a nut by turning it the wrong way, "Of course I know to turn it counter clockwise. I know that!" :D

14. Here's the quote:
Bush: "Of course we‘re after Saddam Hussein—I mean bin Laden."

Kerry: "The president just talked about Iraq as a center of the war on terror. Iraq was not even close to the center of the war on terror before the president invaded it."

17. "You know, it‘s hard work..."
"to try to love her as best as I can."

In reference to Missy Johnson, a woman widowed by Bush's oil grab in Iraq. My wife and I both broke out laughing at that one. Shades of the OB-GYNs gaffe!

Last night Bush had another "catastrophic success." I can't wait for the next two debates. Seeing Bush in direct contrast to Kerry was devastating to Karl Rove's master plan. There's no way anyone who watched it could honestly say that Bush is better at anything.
