I am precisely the demographic they are not accounting for.......
-I did not vote in the last presidential election (stupid, I know)
-I will not be polled because I only use a cell phone
-I am young and in college (therefore not a "likely voter")

What they don't understand about me, and millions like me, is that we are mad as hell about what is going on and it will show in this election. We will not be slackers this time around. We are going to turn out in droves to send this moron back to Texas for good and place a honorable, deserving candidate in the White house.

Who else is just like me?

1. I am about 5 years ahead of you but I know plenty
in the same mindset.

They can't win without cheating now it is our duty to make sure that they can't get away with it.

3. My son is just like you, except he has voted (but not in 2000).
He only has a cell phone and is young. His friends are all the same way, and many of them have never voted. They are this year, though.

4. This grandma is proud of you!
My son and daughter in law are voting Kerry and getting all their twenty-something friends to sign up as well.

The important thing to remember is the STAY INVOVLED. You've seen what happens if people decide it's not important to vote.

10. That's what I keep wondering
Can't Maine or Connecticut be forced to take him back? They're the ones responsible for that family! ;-)

13. Unfortunately, we have no choice but
to take one for the team. **sigh**

I think he ought to stay in D.C., myself, and hang out at that
bar with his daughters. Just as long as he's unemployed. B-)

I'm betting * moves to Houston or Dallas. I can't see him living out in the country unless the world is coming to his door. And that's fixin' to stop real soon.

7. That's great!
I wish there were a million voters like you.

My older daughter and my father-in-law voted for Nader last time, but won't make that mistake again.

And my younger daughter turns 18 on Oct. 23 and is already registered and planning to get an absentee ballot because she's in college.

So that's 3 new Kerry votes among our kinfolk.

8. Where are you going to vote? Can you go home to make sure
you don't get harrassed?

I've always wondered about this. Come November, where do college students vote if they're away from home? I just don't see them asking for absentee ballots in mass.

11. Good for you
:yourock:

You might also see if your state has early voting or absentee voting, since you are in college. That would free up your Nov 2 to allow you to help drive others to the polls, put out signs at polling places, etc.

She's 24, just graduated from college, only has a cell phone, voted for Nader in 2000 and is registering young voters for Kerry right now.

We really need you guys, keep it up and talk to your friends every chance you get!!

16. please make sure you vote - and try to get 1 or 2 more friends to as well
Remember, when Dean started slipping in the polls just prior to Iowa, they said the pollsters don't count the young people who use cell phones that are such a big part of Dean's base... and, look where Dr. Dean ended up!
