The things we get distracted by!
Forgery allegations. Swift boat liar allegations. Pictures of a little girl weeping at a Kerry rally.

When are we--and I include myself in this--going to get good and focused on soemthing real, not something the idiot wingers want us to focus on?

1. The problem is the news is not keeping up with us. We are all looking for
something to talk about to hard.

3. Well what's going on in Iraq is pretty horrible and getting worse.
It needs to be attended to by grownups who can focus and think. That's one thing that should be front and center in this campaign, because, contrary to what Rove wants us to believe, Iraq is a losing issue for his boy.

7. Sadly, with predictable results
People "disgusted" at the behavior of their own party.

WTF, open your damn eyes, it's lie upon lie from the fascist camp. I'll believe man never set foot on the Moon before I take a republican's word for what happened at that rally or anywhere else.

9. They are master(bators) of the high concept dirty icon
We see the photo of the weeping girl with the Bush-Cheney sign ripped in half in a crowd of smiling (?) people with Kerry Edwards signs. Suddenly that is what the whole event is about. There was no rally there. There were no speeches. There was no substance. It was all about Democrats being mean to a little girl.

11. Yes. That's real.
And painful. And it's because of Bush that those civilian men and boys are dead and bleeding. And it's because of scenes like this that Bush's war on terror is a miserable failure, like everything else he touches. But in this case human lives are at stake.

12. It pisses me off..
The little Girl picture is the garbage Rove excells best at, and the public and the media eats it up. But when a woman whose son was killed in Iraq gets arrested at Pickles' rally, you can hear the crickets chirp.

Disgusting.

15. It should break everyone's heart..
Like the guy who thinks it's neato to let his 3 year old kid do his dirty work for him at the Kerry/Edwards rally.

But I'm not holding by breath.
