Two different Fridays. What a difference a week makes
We thought that we were snubbed by the Olympic committee. The reality, I think, was that it was time to go to South America. Though after seeing a clip of Reagan opening the 1984 games in Los Angeles, I wish that Obama had a similar opportunity to do the same in Chicago in 2016.

But now, Europe loves us again. No, he does not deserve it, not yet. But if Beck or Limpdick will burst an aneurysm, I am all for it. Can't they at least have the decency to congratulate him?

5. I don't know. Has a location for the Olympic games was ever changed?
I know that many did not want Berlin in 1936 but, I suppose, Hitler's "charm" kept them there.

And, really, South America deserves a shot. After all, we had it here in 1984 and in 1996. And, I don't know if it would have made a difference, but the Obamas, and Oprah, really had to promote Chicago as an ideal place to host visitors and to accommodate the games, instead of just personal stories. Just my opinion.
