Kerry statement on Nobel Prize
“I congratulate President Obama on being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. This is an honor of the highest magnitude and all Americans should be proud of this recognition. Since his inauguration, President Obama has taken great strides to elevate America’s standing in the world. Under President Obama, America has returned to its true spirit and core values – global engagement, alliance-building, and respect for international human rights and treaties. The Nobel Committee and the world have taken note of America’s renewed commitment to responsible leadership.”

12. Didn't this guy run for President once? Didn't the Bush cabal defeat him
in Ohio? Didn't Bush have machines that registered strange vote counts, and this guy is able to praise Obama?

I think this is the true mark of a man who should have been President.

He's my Senator, he's a fine man, and I admire his ability to tell it like it is every day of the year.

I think Kerry will be remembered just as Gore will, a wonderful human being.

If Kerry had won Ohio, (as he should have) in 2004, he would be getting this Nobel Peace Prize, and to honor Obama, the next guy in line the guy who was NOT EVEN a Senator in 2004, Kerry gets my vote as the most wonderful man, along with Gore, tonight.......these guys are true Democrats, who realize it's NOT about the man, but about the mission.

Thanks to John Kerry, and Al Gore, there but for fortune, and wonderful contributors to the cause of the Nobel Peace Prize.

14. Senator Kerry is
obviously extremely proud that President Obama received this recognition. He was right that Obama had the potential to be a transformational President.

15. It would do many of us great pleasure to see a truly hysterical piss-ant like
Glenn Beck try to argue with John Kerry on the merits of good people, one of whom was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize this morning.

As usual, Kerry nails it strong and true.

16. It's SO nice to have intelligent people in leadership again.
Thinking it through and saying it in a very concise and supportive way, Kerry speaks for me.
