Our President, His Nobel Peace Prize, The Future..............
The very first thing I thought of this morning when I heard that our President won the Nobel Peace prize is this.

The award committee is very very smart.

They acknowledged that our President has done an amazing job of navigating the choppy waters of foreign policy, but everyone on this planet knows the War is bigger and more challenging than anything else. And what meaning does a Peace award have, if we are at War? I think the smart Nobel Peace prize committee might be saying this to our President.

"To Whoever much is given, of him much will be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked."

I say, winning the Nobel Peace prize is bigger message to end the War, bigger than an anti-war march, bigger than a million letters, or bigger than the caskets that come home.

I believe our wonderful and thoughtful President will go to sleep every night and wake up every morning with his Nobel Peace prize on his mind and his conscious.

2. Of course! Congratulations is a word for the moment, the award is a message for
a life time.

The meaning of the award is huge and complex. The award committee did not think this up in 5 minutes.

I am proud of our President. I want him to end the War and I think when the committee awarded him the Nobel PEACE prize, they want him to end it too.

5. I think that our President will feel very humbled and on some level (which we may
not see), shocked.

He has only been President for barely 10 months and this lands in his lap!!!

I have so much hope for what he will accomplish in the next 10 months.

6. Yes, I agree, it's to influence him
they know he's under the influence of powerful forces like the generals and the republicans and the military industrial complex. They want to introduce a powerful good influence into his life.

7. I agree with you. I think award is not simple, it is complicated. I have faith that our
President will rise to the occasion and find the courage to challenge the generals, and republicans, and the rest of the pro-war-make-profit self interests.

After all, he DID VOTE AGAINST the War.
