How are the media (or "medea" as I like to call them)
covering Kerry's NYU speech?

I just watched it on CSPAN's site and it was truly inspiring. But since I'm on a self-imposed no cable news diet, I rely on other DUers to break the bad news to me.

So...Shoot.

3. Just what I feared
Jesus, it's unbearable. My neighbor was listening to CNN this morning and I could hear Bill Hemmer say something like "People are saying Osama wants Kerry to win." What people, asshole!?!

UGH.

7. CNN International is giving international viewers extensive, serious...

coverage of John Kerry's speech, presenting it as a major address/event. Again, proof of CNN domestic's Fox-like agenda, in, I assume, an attempt to boost ratings. They are aware, on the other hand, that international viewers are likely to detest and fear George Bush, and have great interest in the man they hope will be his successor.
