If you missed it Palin's speech will go down as one of the worst ever

Sophmoric as in terms of a sophmoric High School student she rambled with her most irritating sing song voice.

She is for the military and for freedom and for the 2nd ammendment.

She did not identify her main issue that would allow her to contribute with public leadership.

She is a hero because she will not be a lame duck.

She scolded the media and told them to "stop making things up"

She warned Alaska that Hollywood was about to launch an invasion so that they would infiltrate Alaska and take away their guns, but she reminded all of us that "we eat therefore we hunt" appealing to everyone except those that apparently don't eat.

Given the amount of time that she had to prepare for this speech it was stunningly incoherent and poorly delivered. You have to wonder what happened to the handlers that prepared her for the RNConvention speech that was atleast effectively delivered.

8. I think it played a part in why he did it.
Right or wrong, they simply could not have that Palin woman all over the TV calling the President a cop-hater.

And since that would have driven me mad, I think I'll send the President an email thanking him lol.

Rugged independence, caribou, and fiscal wisdom to a brighter future, without forgetting to learn the lessons from the lessons of the past that can be, and should be, learned from, without sacrificing defense and our brave soldiers. Like my great-grandfather once said, as he trudged through the tundra and snow and glaciers and 150 degree heat, "Better to get head than behind", while reform and ethics, freedom for all Americans, especially for Americans and Caribou and Elk who are proud and free.

people. Republicans couldn't very well be open and say, "I'm here to rip off every
red cent from you." Could they? The other thing I can say is that Palin has a lot
of Chutzpa -- but nothing else to go along with it. Neo-Cons could very well
choose her in 2012, at that!!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/02/02/ashley-judd-slams-sarah-p_n_163312.html

In a video, actress Ashley Judd condemns Palin for promoting the aerial killing of wolves and accuses her of suggesting $150 bounties for the severed forelegs of killed wolves.

"Now back in Alaska, Palin is again casting aside science and championing the slaughter of wildlife," Judd recites somberly.

"Palin even proposed a $150 bounty for the severed foreleg of each killed wolf. And now she is encouraging even more aerial killing. It is time to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery."

The speech was tailored for her base. Every loaded buzzword that her base understands and needs to hear was crafted into that claptrap of a speech. Wedge issue people don't care about anything as long as they are placated by hearing a few choice buzzwords that they have been conditioned to hear; Pavlovian dogs.

And to think, only a year ago, none of us had ever heard from Sarah Palin, (unless we lived in Alaska or Western Canada.)

Between the Know-Nothings in Congress and the Senate, the overt racism around the Sotomayor hearings, the Obama-birther Brigade and Pat "I-never-met-a-good-non-white man" Buchanan, the GOP resembles a pathetic, rabid dog that is about 5 years past its prime. And that is BEFORE you throw in the likes of Bachmann, Coulter, Limbaugh, Beck and the rest of "teh crazy".

If this were an actual animal, we would put it down out of compassion....maybe that was what W. had in mind with "Compassionate conservatism" all along....
