11. Here's the only Google 'hit' so far:
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0709/Gorilla_Glue_responds.html

It isn't a Primary Source, but it's close. But there's still a hint of "tongue in cheek" Onion-like satire in it. Myself, I'd hesitate to "run with it".

9. They make a great glue....and a great tape.
Sticks anything to anything...damn near permanently. It does foam up a bit when it dries, though, so use less than you think you have to.

The Gorilla Tape is amazing.

15. It ain't racism
Gorilla Glue is the best glue on the market today for virtually everything that doesn't involve ceramics or plastics, period. It's better than Elmer's and cheaper than superglue.

Jumping up and down and claiming racism shows more of an ignorance of the product than any racism on Miller's part. If someone asked me or anybody I know what glue would be best used to secure something in place, I'd respond with Gorilla Glue.

17. Using primate references when talking about black people isn't racist?
What, did you sleep under a rock the last 300 years?

Miller could have said "construction glue", "super glue", "epoxy", or any number of things, but he went straight for the primate reference.

22. A Bush/Cheney supporter owns the company, and tries to whitewash the statement.
"We're not racists! Buy our stuff! Ignore the obvious racism implicit in Miller's statements!"

Yeah.

26. Thanks for that (working) link!
I'll "run" with it! That Mr. Ragland was a modest Cheney-Bush supporter in 2004, doesn't bother me one damn bit. That's how business people are expected to behave. Regardless of whatever his private opinions "may" be, going against that corporate group-think could lead to serious reprisals. But I felt that letter to be totally sincere and compelling.

I've been a "contrarian" all my adult life. That has usually meant "purist", even perhaps "maximalist" (although "anarchist" rather than "bolshevik".) But I'm now very happy to see a President who can reach across to traditional "opponents", and find common ground to maintain a dialog. That's what he did at that AMA convention, and (in my opinion) he surrendered NO fundamental principle while doing so.

33. Gorilla Glue is great stuff!
Miller on the other hand is about as rotten as they get.

As far as simian comparisons go, I am reminded of basic US History; back in 1861, Lincoln was compared to a "gorilla" and a "stinking ape" by his detractors. On several occasions, MG McClellan called Lincoln a "gorilla" behind his back to his subordinates.

In any case, I hope the sales for GG skyrocket, the stuff really is great and besides, a few bottles can be tossed at or sent to Miller...then he can permanently have both feet stuck in his mouth...:D
