President considering executive order to block abuse photos
Today from The Hill:
The Obama administration is looking at using an executive order to block the release of photos documenting the abuse of U.S. military detainees, said House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.
"I have reason to believe they are looking at that as a way to resolve this situation," Hoyer (D-Md.) told reporters Tuesday.
1. that's complete BULLSHIT. What is Obama scared of?
WE elected him and if he wants to get REELECTED he better start doing our bidding. "Change" from the ways of the Bushco Admin was a big damn plank in his platform. To change from the past, we must identify what it was that went on.
2. Well THAT should put those scandalous rumors to rest! (I never believed that stuff about the baby)
"Today we can all be proud Americans and join together in saying that this country abides by the RULE OF LAW and it has NOTHING to hide! And to prove it I am hereby designating this photographic evidence to be a National Secret upon my own authority as President.
That will forever end scurrilous whispers that we have done something terrible, and that we have an unchecked propensity to do it again, whatever it was.
