CNN Story On Obama's "Swagga" The Most Embarrassing Ever?

"We all expect a bit of fluff from cable news considering they have 24 hours a day to fill and there are only so many events to be "rocked" by, but when we hit a point at which CNN is spending Obama's 100th day in office "assessing his swagga" something is amiss.

T.J. Holmes sat down with four men who were never identified by name or title (as if we weren't supposed to care about who they were, just that they were black) to talk about Obama's "swagga." They were sweet and did the best they could with such a ridiculous topic, but anchor Kyra Phillips was way over the top. She asked for the theme song to "Shaft" to be played, she talked about Obama's "flava" and she insisted on getting a fist bump at the end. Here are her choicest moments..."

TJ acts dumber than a door knob (I'm sure he's intelligent, but is playing some hip hop kind of part) and Kyra ...well what can you say. I had to stop watching "CNN War Channel" because of those two and that weird guy with the suit who is on during the day who is equally if not more obnoxious.

I mean, they sure as hell wouldn't have a white reporter do a story like that! And I don't remember any stories like this about dubya. I remember about his clearing brush, but am not sure if that was a story, or a joke. When i saw this story yesterday i was just aghast. is this racist? i thought. i am not sure, but it certainly is a stupid story. Do they not have anything more compelling to do a story on? I heard octomom had a visit from child and family services. isn't there a blonde girl missing? (actually i heard on the local news that a blonde teen went missing on vacation in another state. there you go cnn. and your welcome)

That's why it was labled as "embarrassing." But it's a legit topic because it's a big topic in the black community concerning Obama. My family and friends all notice certain things about Obama that only black people really see and understand. For example, when he walked to the podium of the press conference...he has a certain dip in his stride that only black men are able to pull off. White people typically don't see it or understand it, but black folks know what Obama is trying to do. That walk is nothing but a walk of pure confidence and letting people know you are the shiznit. Obama's walk is designed to show that he's the baddest mothafucka in the room and black folks realize that.

So yes, Obama's got mad swagga like none other.

Like I said, it's a topic probably not suited for CNN or its viewers, but it is a real and legit topic.
