Is it too late for mass admin and hill staffer hiring?
Edited on Wed Apr-15-09 02:58 AM by Sen. Walter Sobchak
A woman who works for me is getting married this spring and plans on returning to Virginia at the end of May, she has a strong background in trade, environmental and energy policy and is a rock solid partisan Democrat with an economics background. I am really disappointed to see her leaving but obviously can't fault her for wishing to live with her husband.

She has been looking for a sessional instructor position for the fall, but that seems like a great way to starve.

Does anyone have a feel for how much hiring is left to do in policy roles in DC?

I made a few calls but everyone I know in DC is with an incumbent who has made no significant staffing changes.
