Stay classy, Rush! Limbaugh calls Obama "Barack Ogabe"

Rush Limbaugh was at it again on Tuesday, "confusing" Barack Obama with Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe, and referring to the president as "one angry guy -- his wife is angry as well."

Limbaugh went on to "accidentally" refer to Robert Mugabe, the president of Zimbabwe, as "Barack Ogabe."

"The standard of living has increased in places where there are basic free markets," Limbaugh said. "Where there aren't, of course the standard of living has declined, such as Zimbabwe... now run by Robert Ogabe. Ah -- it's Mugabe. I was confusing him with a well-known Kenyan named Barack Ogabe. This is Robert Mugabe."

Limbaugh the Hutt just keeps coming up with new material, doesn't he? :eyes:

It boggles my mind to know that this ignorant hate speech is digested by millions of listeners! And I bet a majority of them had no idea what Rush was even trying to say! Then again, he doesn't fully understand half of what he blathers on about, anyway. Equating our President with Robert Mugabe perpetuates an infantile and racist worldview in which minorities (especially those with foreign-sounding names) are all ideologically identical and should not be trusted with political power. I seriously doubt Rush could orate on the finer points of Mugabe's political career, or is even aware of the knighthood and many honorary degrees that were once heaped upon him by the all-knowing Western nations during the 80s and 90s. But I digress...

Barack and Michelle aren't angry - but I can understand how you may be, Rush. You and all the other perturbed old white men who felt the earth shift on November 4th...just go to hell and leave the rest of us alone.

But this is part of their strategy. As someone posted earlier, the S. Carolina Gov was the first person who used this analogy. Rep. Clyburn was upset and accused the Gov. of trying to make a racist attack. Clyburn was dismissed as overly sensitive. Now we have Rush doing the same thing. Please don't simply dismiss as crazy. This is part of their plan.
