At the event Michelle did last week with the school kids, the White House Chief Usher (I think that's his title anyway) who is also African American, spoke is a way that was subtle, yet abundantly clear how proud he was to be serving this First Family. I can only imagine the pride he and his staff felt moving the Obamas in.
