Hey Kids!! I just got back home .... how'z y'all doing?

We are down to just HOURS before Barack takes office and Georgie leaves DC on a rail!


I was up north in Atascadero and my step mom and I watched the concert on TV and CRIED our asses off.

It REALLY is a time for hope for our nation.

We are flying the American flag outside our house for the first time in YEARS!!

It feels damn good.

The country and Obama's got a platefull of stuff from the get go, but just to finally have this turnover actually happen is a good day.

Big one, from my WWII dad's funeral. Remember everyone:

STARS ON THE LEFT; STRIPES ON THE RIGHT when you hang a flag vertically. Not the Bush way with stars on the right. Man, that just bugs me to no end.
